Devlog #2 — A quick update and a bit of the core

Hi everyone!

The next part of the story is coming together — and there’s more to explore.

To be honest, I seriously underestimated how much time some things would take — turns out, that’s what being an amateur really means.
But I’m not giving up. I’ll do my best to finish as much as I can by the planned release date.

📅 If all goes well, the new version should be out in mid-July.

In the meantime, here’s a small look at what I’ve been building:

1. New UI systems

The notebook is the heart of investigations. It keeps track of suspicions, connections, and little details that might matter more than they seem.

The wardrobe — okay, hear me out. I’ve always dreamed of mixing a mystery thriller with a dress-up mechanic. Now Marina can change outfits — and maybe it’ll even affect a scene or two.

The wardrobe is still in progress — but it’s getting there!

2. Characters

More new characters are coming — and this is only part of the full cast:

From left to right: two women, a non-binary character, and several men.

And more are on the way. Everyone has a role to play — and something to hide.

3. New locations

The world is growing.
New places, new scenes, new mysteries — from quiet cafés to hospital corridors and neon-soaked clubs.

And most importantly

What I truly want to matter — is the story.
Marina’s journey. Her search. Her tangled relationships, and the choices that shape everything.
The mystery, the emotions, the paths you can take.

The visual side is just a pleasant bonus — something that helps me, working solo without a studio or a budget, bring this story to life at all.
That’s the heart of the project — the narrative. And I hope it finds its way to yours.

Thanks for being here. ❤️
